SatFarming is located in the Beauce region of northwestern France, in the Eure-et-Loir department between the Seine and Loire rivers, about 120 kilometers (75 Miles) from Paris. Beauce is a flat, treeless and fertile limestone plain, one of France’s most productive agricultural areas. Corn was introduced in the 1950s and is now cultivated along with wheat, barley and rape seed.
